Thanks guys! I can't find any sand that isn't under frozen stuff (snow and ice) but that would be a good idea. I'd have to put them in the fridge because our basement isn't cool enough. They are just in a bag- not plastic, in the basement now but look like some are going bad.

Cause all he wants to do is Cuddle. He eats up being held, touched and carried. He is not a normal rooster at all.

ROFL....Cuddles is here forever! Jerry and EJB have both tried to get their hands on him for Cuddle time. He shall not leave. I feel bad his comb took some major damage this winter. Last year his comb was beautiful now he looks wounded. Poor Guy


Just a warning to you, Watch Jerry and EJB they will steal every bird that cuddles in a second.

That one looks like a gonner to me. I don't believe it will make it to planting time. Erlibird, you must have your lesser half dig you a root cellar to store these next year.
