Holm, best wishes for her. That’s a tough thing to handle.

Will I need to move my broody?
She got off best this morning. Since it's the most popular nest, another hen got in it, laid, and then left. Broody came back and got back on eggs. I have 4 with her, which is all I'm going to try, but I don't want the others to keep adding to the nest.
No, I'm not sure. She's just never acted like this before. Stayed in the box all day yesterday. Slept in the box last night. Yesterday just started squawking if anyone opens the box.Are you she is a broody? Your birds seem pretty young to have a broody PC. I have an anti-social PC hen that seems to act like yours.
She gets out to eat and drink then crawls back in a nest box. She hates to have me reach under her but that is her being a Norwegian and not really being broody. I throw her out of the nest box quite often and she just waits until I turn my back and crawls back in....
I think is is princess's sister. She looks like her and acts like her.
@duluthralphie, did I see you say you’re hatching turkeys? What kind? Any chance you’d be hatching extras? This is all theoretical...
I have heritage breeds, But they are not show quality so I have started breeding them for varying colors just to play with the genetics of the young. I will have "pure" Slates, Royal Palms, and a few bronze the rest will be calicos.....(whatever comes out of the eggs).
They are not Broad breasted, if that matters.
I should have some extras as I hatch every egg I get.
Maybe only a few feathers. I was watching for that. I'm not super convinced yet. And with the eggs doing ok in the incubator, set for lock down on Wed, I'm not too worried.TFred did she pluck her breast?
