All will be well, and that will be well is well.
I went to check on my meat chickens, oh, an hour or two ago... they were out of their tractor pecking contentedly at the grass along with the broody hen I had put in there with them (because their tractor has no nest boxes and gets moved 2x/day). They did not leave their tractor. Their tractor left them! It was parked halfway over the barbed wire fence with a wooden post on its inside. WTH? No wind today, 87*. It must’ve been a little twister/dust devil thing.
DH helped me move all the birdies into the adjacent fenced yard then we got the tractor (undamaged) off the fence and back on its feet. Then I put them all back in, fixed the water and all... then I realized I hadn’t even taken a picture.
What good is all that without a picture? No one was hurt but the fence.
