Surviving Minnesota!

Morning . Back home from my trip north . Closed up for the year . Saw peak fall color . Then the rain and wind and cool days made a lot of leaves fall . Cool even here . Some fall color but will not peak for a week or two . My autumn blaze maples are in full color . So I get a rewind on fall color .
We aren’t at peak here yet. But it is turning.

Morning . Deer were not seen much this trip . Happens every year about this time . Lots of acorns on the ground . Have a few black squirrels at the lake . Need to mow . Need to check for mushrooms . Likely rest a few days . Wore my old donkey out . Had wildflower seed to take to the lake but forgot them . Saved some sunflower seed the bicolor ones . Put the heads in the garage but mice got them . So I put out some treats for them .

I couldn't break Bitsy from her broodiness so I gave her an egg 3 weeks ago, it hatched yesterday early morning, chick is doing good. Bitsy still hasn't pooped!! it's been over three days since she was in lock down. it'll be a huge smelly one :sick

Good morning, all! A good chill in the air the last few days....and now we wait...
My chicas are now 4 months, would there be definite signs of combs and/or wattles at this point if one of them should decide to be a rooster? Here are pics of my chicas
