Ok story time . Wife's car is done . Oil leak fixed . Had to wait on new oil pan and gasket . Drain plug threads were leaking . So had to loosen AC compressor bracket . Serpentine belt off pulley . Did not pay attention to routing . Was not smart enough to route it . youtube was no help . Went to O'Riely's for a book = none . So they looked it up and printed it off for me . So Bingo it is done . I can follow pictures .

It is raining here this morning, and snow is in the forecast in the next few days? We are yet 10 inches behind average for the year to date. My FIL lives next door and is a gardener. He had a beautiful crop of tomatoes this summer. At 90 years of age he is still doing well, but has days when things don't quite add up?
My chicks are doing well and will soon be possible to distinguish pullets from cockerels.

Lion's mane kit is growing . Plus another flush of deer mushrooms . Last 2 pics are wild asters . We have 2 kinds that grow wild here . Some get to 5 foot tall .

I Had asters in the poultry yard...my turkeys liked to eat the seeds. Now it's mainly snake weed in there. Still some wild asters in the pasture.

So I have been unsupervised 2 days . So I am a fairly good cook . Had 3 bell peppers that I needed used up . Thought hey stuffed peppers . So not wanting to go the real way . Yeah lazy . Sliced and cubed the peppers , boiled in a saucepan till done . 1 1/2 # burger , onion and some hen of the woods mushroom added the peppers and a quart of home canned pasta sauce . A packet of Uncle Ben's rice . Simmered awhile . Oh so good . Had 2 bowls while still a little runny . Thickened up after it sat and cooled some . Love the taste of home canned tomato products .
