At what time did the cockeral's comb start to pinken and enlarge? I have 3 SFH that are 6 weeks old and so far there is no sign of same here.

Here is a pair of my 8-week-olds, a pullet and a cockerel. (I am selling these as a pair, or the cockerel alone, on Craigslist). Note how much more pronounced the comb is on the cockerel.

On the age of telling a rooster...my 6 week old was not obvious. Comb was just a little different than the others

By 7 weeks the comb was obviously larger and the wattles were starting to grow more.

by 9 weeks it was getting more obvious.

ho on here has more darker birds in their flock? I am looking to add black pullets (wishful thinking right?

) Also darker mile fluer colors? I was to get at least 2 new bloodlines to add to mine and would like one to be darker and one to be lighter!! Any ideas on who has what Im after!?! I think KYTinpusher has the darks and Bernie56 has the other ones I was looking at!

My SFH cockerels start showing combs by four weeks.
