Swedish Flower Hen Thread

Madamwuf, who lives near me, hatched this guy. I love him. He is a stinker though. Name of Wasp. He started as a black chick.

The only young lady from my Valentine's day chicks. Name of Sweet.

I need to photograph the new ones, but I haven't sorted out a pen for them outside, and the lighting in the garage is less than ideal, even with a flash.
Wow, he's a beauty.

Cool!

I keep trying to get a photo of the second one you hatched. But he is quick. And very small still but feathering in normally. Looks like a blue rooster. Bantam sized, and I can't wait to see how big he gets. Wasp grows like a weed...look at him, and he grows.

Here is one of the babies my hens hatched. I'm having real trouble getting photos. When I lift the hens off, the chicks run all over, and this one hen pecks them.

Here is a second. I cannot wait until I can clean the coop. The hens got really mad at me every time, and I knew we were coming up on hatch day so I left them alone for a few days. Yucky.

Here is the third

I haven't taken photos of the others either.
Some interesting chickens next to those chicks.

I finally got picture of my 3 SFHs. They are six weeks old today and not really sure of gender. My male basques have already pinkened and enlarged combs and some wattle development at this age. Your thoughts are appreciated! If they are all pullets, I will want to pickup a little roo at Gilmanor.

SFH #1 - Crested, smallest of the three

SFH #2 - Has a nice brown crest on red/white mottled body - with one curled toe.

SFH #2 - Another picture

SFH #3 - Non-crested, very friendly, climbs up on my shoulders (Would not stay in pic area long enough to get a picture but rested easily in hand)

So what are your thoughts on gender their gender?
