Wow! One of my SFH girls did in fact go broody!!e I've been so excited to share with the fellow flower crowd as I know the question was asked recently.

Took me almost 4 days to break her.Because it's not the right time for her/me... never mind my other 4 broody's.
And... my broody FBCM successfully hatched 3 bouncing baby flowers!![]()
She had them out to pasture at 3 days old. Will post a couple pics later.

I will say that the colors do change drastically as they age and are completely different from the day they were born. As well as the flowers do start to come in a little later on some of them. Of course there are poor quality birds where people don't care what they breed and so you may not get the pretty flowers associated with them. A black based chick with some white could end up being the Snow Leopard variety. Of course will give a more educated opinion after seeing your pic. Just trying to give the benefit of the doubt. :/
