Hi, welcome to BYC and SFH!Hello,
I'm new to SFH and getting hatching eggs this weekend. Trying to read all the information and know what to look for in the best breeding quality babies. The lady is marking the two different pens eggs so I can tell them apart. What are the faults to look for and what is a snoleopard pattern look like? I'm so excited about having some of these amazing birds.

Start by running a dry hatch for SFH. When picking your breeders, if you are indeed breeding... try and keep a crested female instead of male (if you even like crested). But don't keep crested in both genders as you will get double crested birds and is not good for this breed. Also, I would grow any possibilities out to at least 1 year old if they don't have major faults. They still go through some changes.
Faults to check for are sprigs and split wing but not until older. As well as shank color, lack of flowering, and double crests. Maybe eye color.
I have two and ate 1 snoleopard. They are basically black and white with some straw color but no red, I think. I will try to post a pic of mine later... but here is a pic I found on the web of an SL SFH... she is light base, mine are dark base.
