It's out! I caught the whole zipping process on video. Looks very light colored. A 2nd one has pipped.

2nd chick is out, 3rd one has pipped. This group has six eggs but one looked a little weird and I don't think it will hatch. First chick has curled toes. 2nd looks normal. Both look completely white-very different from my greenfire chicks.

Has anyone else experienced lots of pasty butt with their SFH?

It's typically not an issue for me when I brood chicks but these little ones are struggling with it now.

Yea!!! I get to join the thread now...I got my 15 chicks today from Greenfire...some of my order were older than the others..about 1/2 have feathered wings and little tail feathers, the other half were just hatched chicks with pink and purple leg bands....darn, I cut the leg bands off before reading the thread..I thought maybe she banded them because they were hatched with different breeds and that how they were identified...any way all the younger ones had leg bands. I'll take better pictures as they grow......glad to be here!~Charm1704
