Hi all, I've been reading lots of threads regarding similar issues for the last couple of days. My 2.5 yr RI Red mix has been waddling, tail feathers tucked and her abdomen is swollen. I've kenneled her inside the house and provided a heat lamp. She ajado shakes her head a bit. Her appetite seems good, she's drinking water, waddles and comb are red. When she sleeps her whole body moves as if she's laboring to breathe but no strange or gurgling sounds. Not sure what to do! Help please

Sounds like she's dealing with ascites.

When you feel her belly it would feel like a water balloon.

There's articles on how to manage it on byc or just Google it. Faster way to find it.
