Swollen injured turkey leg

my 2yo heritage Tom has injured his leg jumping off the porch. We’ve contained in grass area but now he’s chasing chickens and his legs now swollen.

What can I do to help him heal?and how long does it generally take? Thank you

Maybe containing him to a smaller kennel where he has enough room to stand and turn but no chasing... start with a couple days and check thereafter. Some things heal quickly while others might take a month. It depends partly on the injury type and also on the individuals immune system.

Have you inspected to make sure it's just a sprain or strain injury and not an actual break?
