Swollen Legs, trouble walking and standing

Does anyone know what may have caused the swelling and what seems to be painful mobility?

Thickened legs with normal looking feet can sometimes be a symptom of osteopetrosis, a type of avian leukosis. As Granny posted, check the bottoms of the feet and toes for scabs, and also look for swelling around the hocks.

Yes we checked under the feet, they're good, clean and smooth. There is swelling at the top of the legs(hocks), one side more swollen than the other.
