The couple of cases of bumblefoot Ive had to handle, its been like I think @oldladychick has said and my hen's has just had a scab, not something in the foot like a thorn.

Yes, I think it would be fine to say what product you ordered. Others will be interested to see if it makes a difference, and also weigh in, if they have experience using it.

The tincture is from moonlight mile herbs. A friend who has guineas suggested it. I'm disappointed it is takimg so long to get here... but I emailed them and we looked at the tracking. It is delayed by the post office, not their company.

Oh! And Mister CROWED this Morning!!!! It has been weeks since he' made a sound. It sounded a bit funny, but he's at least trying!!! I'm really encouraged by that!

The tincture came in. Wow, it' hard to use an eyedropper to get the meds in him! His amoxicillin pill has been easy to give. I set it in front of him point to it and he eats it right up. Hmm.. I'm going to search the forums and see of anyone has some methods for administering meds from an eye dropper.
It is also for external use too right on the foot. That will be easy!

Almost a month later... sigh... still wicked swollen on the worst side.

Other side. Still looks like a humble! Is it a regular scab or bumble scab growing back?? I hate to cut into him again now that it is under freezing (32) in my area. Hes definately acting better but holds his worse foot up sometimes. The heat is completely gone from his leg so I'm not worried about staph going systemic. He has about a week of antibiots left. That will make 30 days on amoxicillin!

I found Mister dead yesterday morning :......( Thank you everyone for all your help. Now at least I know what to look for and what to do for my other chickens early on if it ever happens to another one.

Oh my goodness....I'm so sorry to hear that. He sounded like a good guy.
He was well taken care of and had a good life.
