Taking our "new" boat out lol

We catch blue crab in the shrimping nets, its not as meaty as snow crab. I'd much rather go to Crabby Mike's

Shrimping is really good in the fall. We usually put in at McClellenville. We haven't been in a few years. When I was a teenager my Dad would put me out at Cape Romain while he and whomever was with us went out to throw the nets. I would spend the day fishing and exploring the island. I have great memories of that. I'm not sure if that is allowed now. Its a highly protected migratory bird refuge. Its a beautiful little place that I really enjoyed being alone with nature at. If while your out fishing, and are near it, take a look.

Editing to say that I just looked at the NWR website and you can put in and take a look around Cape Romain, so if you have a chance do so.

The chessapeke house ain't that good, the hut in calabash is real good to. I'll try craby mikes next time. Me and my dad catch alot of shrimp in garden city.

Lakes that are very pretty dont have much fish. We tried a beutiful 2 mile long lake. so pretty and caught nothing. Next place was a 20x20 drainage area that ran from a pond down a stream and caught alot of sunnies, trout, bass and a catfish
