Talk to me about "water witching" for a well

What a fun thread!

I personally can't do it, but my husband is spot on with it. He can trace every water line on this property using the witching sticks.
Absolutely, positively works...and I'm skeptical about most everything.

I don't know where everyone else lives but in my neighborhood
right now, witching for water would be too easy.

I think its rained all but two days in the last month. Ground is full.
Squish, squish, squish.

We have taught all the chickens to swim.

Our dog is wearing a life perserver.

My neighbor is trying to sell his home...advertising it as beach-front property.

Wanting to witch for water? Better let it dry up first.

The old timers used branches. No metal. I've observed it many times. True or not, I never knew too many people that would dig a well without witching first.

I think maybe it is involuntary muscle movements... But it does locate water... Maybe the muscle contractions are due to animal instincts or our natural survival instincts?? Merely speculation...

I teach it. There are a lot of nay sayers who don't believe in it, but more who do. Ask for references just as you would any other business man and talk to those references in person. Go out to the land they said they found water on, also you can ask for a demonstration.
