TCH's Hatch-a-long!

When did you notice the pips?
Yesterday at 11 am. I just got my first hatch about an hour ago. I used the assisted hatching instrtuctions and that seems to be working

As soon as she fluffs up, I will see if any need help. All she needed was to ahve the shell where she pipped pulled back and the membrane dampened with coconut oil.

I have three happy chicks. Looks like one more nearly made it but I think it's foot was hooked around it's beak and it may have suffocated. I have three more eggs in the incubator, but they have not pipped and when I candle them I cannot see any internal pip and no movement. I think had I helped the one who nearly made it earlier he could have been saved. So three for this hatch. Not great but not bad for my first attempt in about 8 years! :)

Congrats on 3!! I’m sorry I couldn’t help too much!
