It’s like the color is leaching out of them on to the eggs. Do your black runners lay darker eggs?

I thought that my Mama Cayuga was around 3ish. They have a similar amount of white

My blue Runner is turning white too. Only one that hasn't changed is my Silver she still looks the same but she was almost white to begin with. My oldest Runner drake is white around his eyes.

These animals are such wonderful pets albeit quite high maintenance, I'm dumbfounded at how many people see them as lawn ornaments.
