Tell me pleaseif my rooster is molting or not

Hi! I
I have a beautiful Copper Maran Rooster who is supposed to be the lead roo. But lately he started having bald spots and loosing his feathers/He got quieter.He is only 6 months old. Isn't it too early for him to do molting?
I checked for mites and there is "nobody" seems to be crawling on him.

Could be lice. Or your hens may be pecking him. You could try getting him a saddle.
