Tell me the chicken coop is the only place you wear Crocs

i dont know about the fungal infection part but crocs are actually good for your feet, the rubber gives a support and structure that most other shows cant thats why nurses wear them and then the caught on, my mom worked in a doctors office and that is all the nurses would wear because of the comfort level and that they were doctor recommened, now the knock off ones are terrible not made of the same stuff so they could possible be bad for your feet

How did you kill yours???!!! I NEED the secret! I cannot condone buying myself a new pair of yard boots until I manage to kill the one darn pair of crocs that I have, and those things have survived my 12 year old son, numerous trips into the coop and around the yard, and over the past year and a half I have washed the liners 10 times and THEY WILL NOT DIE! I even fed them to the idiot bird dog, and left them laying around for Fergus, my prone to temper tantrums when left at home alone, Mastiff, and he would not touch them! I cannot even find a single tear, hole or even a stain on them, and they have been buried in muck, several times!
I wish Ariat made their pro-baby boots half as tough as those crocs, I have 4 pair of boots and they all look like last years chewed jerky, and a couple of them are only 3 or 4 years old. The crocs just dont look right with my cruel girl jeans, and they kill my back, but if I dont wear them out or destroy them through mishap, the ex-husband will never let me hear the end of it.

I like the idea of them but I can't wear them myself first because I am not as sure footed as I'd like, and my ground is super rocky and uneven. If I wear any shoe that doesn't keep my foot firmly inside it, I'm liable to slip and twist my ankle (yet again). And second, I have to wear long jeans down to my trainers so my gander doesn't have any skin available for biting--he makes it a regular habit to bite my pant legs when I'm out there changing water or putting our feed and I really don't need the hassle of my actual skin being bitten. I can just see him going for the achilles tendon. Unfortunately, this applies to all sandals, no matter how cute.

Ew. Crocks.

I buy the TSC variety b/c I hate shoes anyway and can't bear to pay $30 for a pair.... I'd probably go barefoot everywhere if I could though even I have "some" good sense (despite what my Dad says lol) but I can't afford the cost of a farrier to work on my feet when he comes to do the horses so I'll put up with shoes occasionally. I have the "yard/barn/coop/feedlot/hiking through the woods" pair that live on the front porch when not in use, the "go to work and town because I can't go there barefoot" pair, and the "in case of emergency" pair in case something happens to the others. I will admit to occasionally wearing "girl shoes" if I have to go to a wedding or funeral or similar occasion but I try to avoid them whenever possible. I must say that, though hideous (the shoes, not my joints), my much abused middle-aged joints have never felt better. Sometimes my toes hurt though when the chickens manage to score a direct hit through the holes......

i think they are the ugliest thing ever...but I will admit i have a pair and will be getting another tomorrow.
I get them cheap and they are comfy and last. I cant seem to ever buy shoes that i like, that fit and that are under $10 and if they arent under $10 I wont buy them cuz my husband wears $200 work boots that need to be replaced every 6 months and my son needs new shoes every few months so their shoes come first. I just wore mine out to the beach today and they were GREAT!

I love my crocs...I wear another brand to work called "Scrubs" because they are not an open design(can't wear that in the hospital)
I know crocs aren't the most beautiful shoe, but so are my Keens(as I have been told). I don't always buy a shoe for looks if it is serving a purpose such as a utility type shoe. If it fits my foot good and doesn't hurt, I'm there!
P.S.
My mom never has liked my taste in shoes, LOL!

I guess I'm a Crocs and Keen lover!!
