tell the difference between delaware chick's and delawarexhampshire chick

I ordered straight run of delawares and new hampshire and wondered if I will be able to tell the difference between the chick's if I hatch from them? I plan on keeping 1 roo from both breeds and all the hens. I know I should end up with Indian River, pure dels, pure hampshire, and sex links. Just hoping I will be able to tell them apart. Thanks

I "think" you should be able to. Delaware are eWh allele based. I think the new Hampshire are eb(brown) allele based. This means the chick down will be different colors. Hang on a sec, here's pics of the different chick downs.

Delaware chicks should be white/yellow with a few black spots on the back and head. New Hampshire chicks should be golden or red.

( look at the chick video) I think i see an eye stripe and {maybe?} a dark dot on top the head. This would be how you tell the Indian Rivers from the Delaware chicks. Delawares do not have any eye stripe.

Ok I think I worded it wrong I think I will be able to tell the difference between the ones I ordered its the offspring of the ones I ordered that I am wondering about. I plan on keeping them all together and hatching from the group and not sure if I will be able to tell the difference between them. I looked at some pictures and think I will be able to tell but was hoping for some sure signs of the difference. Thanks
