Jefferson Farmers Co-op is located in Dandridge, Tn. We are 20 minutes NE of Knoxville, Tn. We are excited to announce our first annual Poultry meeting that will be held at Jefferson Farmers Coop on March 13, 2014 (Tomorrow)! It will be here at the store beginning at 6:00 p.m. Our address is 106 Highway 92 South, Dandridge, Tn 37725 right across from Jefferson County High School. Hi everyone! I am not on here often and post even less so! I am in West/Middle TN but my family and I may have to move back to the Knoxville/Roane County area to take care of a family member, mostly dependent on whether I can find a teaching position. We will need to rent a property with a house of at least 3b/2ba and property where we can house about 100 chickens and a few goats, plus have an extensive garden. If anyone knows of or hears anything please let me know, It would be much appreciated. We are probably not in the position to buy after spending the last four years as missionaries!

I am new to both TN and chicken raising. Next month i am moving to woodlawn TN, slightly west of clarksville. I am looking at getting 2 hens to start out with raising my own animals. I have zero experience lol, besides my dog that i have raised since 6 weeks old. Really excited to get some hens and gget started on this new adventure. Anyone else here from that area?
