don't take it personally, it tells almost everyone that! i have friends that are MOST DEF not overweight and it's still basically called them porkers!

apparently the Japanese original version was even harsher!

HAHA!! Yeah, I mean it got my weight right but if you look at me I don't look near obese like it says!

BUT I think I have my height wrong, which does make a difference. I know I am overweight BUT I'm not close to being obese... My little Me character got huge when it weighed me!

Poor little bunny, you think it's because shes a female bunny? I've heard they aren't as friendly because all they want to do is.... bunny math.... I wish I could help the bunny out but I think my DH would tell me to go live outside.

When I was younger I remember my older sister owning several rabbits, I used to carry 2 one gallon jugs of water out to the shed that was outside in the back and refill all the bunny water bottles.

They weren't even my bunnies...

Happy New Year, Tennessee!

Now which one of you turned a fire hose on my pens last night? Hmmmmm???? They are not just wet, they are BLASTED! Nice.

My roos are uppity this morning. They always know when it's a holiday, and they hollered for so long that I finally interrupted my coffee and croissant to bring them some wheat straw. That seemed to turn their attention to something besides waking the hung-over neighbors.

Hope you all had a safe New Year's Eve, and are welcoming this wet New Year's Day with a nice warm breakfast. . . and maybe a Mimosa or something.

That fire hose needs to quit...slowing down finishing the chicken house and I need it now!! Thinking we are going to have to put some chick pens in our horse barn soon as well.
Off to TSC for more wire..need some pens today for the kids

'Mornin', y'all! Wasn't that quite the storm last night? I woke up about 2am wondering if the house would hold up to the winds. Thunder, lightening, the works. Glad that passed over with limited damage.
The runs are flooded and squishy. Thankfully I have super duper muck boots and could stomp about merrily in the puddles and mud. The chickies don't seem to mind it though. Perhaps for the new year they have resolved to find their inner duck. Who knows?

I am piled up on the sofa watching the Rose Bowl Parade and wondering what kind of damage a herd of chickens could do if they got loose in the Rose Parade workshop barns. Perhaps BYC should do a Rose Bowl parade float next year.

Hope all survived the storm alright and are having a lovely New Year's Day.

A BYC Chicken Float in the parade sounds very exciting. I wish all of you a Happy New Year and hope and pray for all of us and others around the world will have better health and good luck in this next year. I have been in and out of the hospital for 2 months now and I am so tired of all the heart work and then shoulder freezing up and all that junk. I know my chickens think I have left this world and left them behind cause I always went out every day too talk too them but haven't seen them in a long time. Still haven't been able too go out but I tell you those EE hens I have are really laying the eggs now. Then my 1 1/2 year old hens that quit laying seems like forever ago, one has started laying a dark brown egg with black speckles. Got more eggs now than I know what too do with. Now you know people around here don't know much about those blue, olive, pink or whatever color eggs the EE decide too lay. They just know about the brown eggs. Oh I may just boil some of them and feed them back too the hens. Have a safe and Happy New Year all of you.

Yes, it was quite a storm. Unfortunately, we lost some siding at some point, about a 5x10 foot upper story area; pieces of Hardi-plank all over the yard. I knew those winds sounded fierce, guess they were! All the chickens kept their feathers, though. Hope this is not an omen of what 2011 will hold for us.

@ Sally - WOW you lost SIDING???

I'm tired of all the wet weather... the chickens look at me and you can tell they're plotting their escape... Water hose? More like fire hydrant...

Everyone have a safe and happy new year. Oh, what's everyone's new years resolution? I don't have one yet, if I did it'd be to lose 10 pounds
