He might have a future as a predator repellant or burgular deterrent. Someone breaks into your house and you run up and toss him at them. They'll run away screaming "my eyes! MY EYES!".

But seriously, I love him. Some things just deserve to live. Remember John Merrick, the Elephant Man? He was friends of royalty and actors. Maybe Merrick would be a good name.

I too think he is adorable! The odd balls always have a special place here as well. I also have a crossbeak serama hen with major tremors. I keep her beak trimmed and she holds her own with the flock, in fact she is the bully. TY for giving him a fair chance at life

Come on guys, it was funny at first but, now I'm feeling badly about all posts calling him/her a freak or monster. Maybe chickens don't care but it would be nice if we could just focus on his well being and wish him/her a long happy life. I'd rather hear about his successes and how he adjusts to chicken life.

The forum across all threads seems to attract alot of bullying masquerading as joking. I think they need an outreach program more than verbally battered poulty.Just sayin'

These kinds of boards are a lot of fun if you understand there are many different kinds of personalities and everyone doesn't always see eye to eye. Take things in stride and with a grain of salt and you will enjoy this place as much as I do... bullies or not. It's just words on a screen. I didn't mean to make you feel bad... it was just too funny to pass up
