Here are a few from when I moved them out to the coop with the turkeys

HA!!! Even the turkeys like "chicken TV"!!!!

Yes I do enjoy them I go out and sit with them everyday. The turkeys will let me pet them. The chickens still will not but they will come around my feet when I am sitting in their part.

This weather in Katy is nuts. I wish I had a rain gauge cause I've really gotten a ton of rain. If I were Noah, with a bunch of animals in a big boat waiting on rain, I'd be a happy camper.

I wouldn't count on turkey at Harley's this year. I think his heart is too wrapped up in them.

It was hard on Ken to do our 5. We really enjoyed interacting with them.

Lol yea right I am counting the days until they go to freezer camp. They have one more bag of feed until they go. I need the room for the hens

Have you ever done this before?

I would have the hardest time culling anything. The guy that I talked to about chickens this spring told me how he does his by cutting the jugular just enough for them to bleed to the heart keeps pumping the blood out of the bird until they bleed out. Then he skins them. The whole time I was thinking I can never do this.

iPhoto is still broken but I have some photos I can post from my phone.

Here is my yard, garden and garage (still painting it).

These first two are shots from when we first moved in (Aug 2012).

I took these this afternoon. Look how far it has come!

The grass is getting really thick. I hope I can get the front yard in this shape someday.....

New color for the garage. It matches my brick. I'm going to do the same color scheme as on the house. Exterior paint is really expensive! I spent over $400 for the paint for the garage and house. :(

Nathan thinks it looks like a pumpkin. I'm going to add trim color to make it less orange. It looks like the garage belongs with the house now.

I need to put out fertilizer again but I don't want to since I need to mow the back yard twice a week right now. It doesn't need to grow more!

I really like the fertilizer I used in the garden this year. It is growing like mad!

I am getting good production from the garden every day now. :)

I hope that everyone is having a good week. I thought it was Friday tomorrow earlier. Bummer it is only Wednesday. lol!
