How is your silkie girl doing? How about your little girl? Did she handle his leaving alright? I seem to remember lots of tears when the other roo went.My little Silkie Roo went to his new home yesterday!
The girl was about my age and had 35 chickens! She said when she saw my post she was so excited because she had a group his age and she'd been wanting a Silkie forever. So I know he'll be spoiled.
I know giving away birds doesn't always end happily but I feel so lucky to have found homes for both my roos that I feel good about.
Especially my little Silkie man...he is just too sweet!
I found this adorable recipe today. Actually it found me. I got it in an email.

My friend posted this on Facebook. Had to share it. Too funny!
We got an inch of rain yesterday with high winds. I was very lucky to not have had my car smooshed by a falling tree when I was babysitting. About a third of the tree went in the ice storm we had over the winter so I knew the rest of it would go soon. So glad I was dropping on of the twins off at tutoring when it went down. The trees are so weak here due to the drought, hard winter and all the winds. This was a Bradford Pear though. Kind of goes without saying it would be damaged.

The photo looks blurry because it is raining so hard.
Trevor left for Hawaii today.
