Hello from Rockport, Texas, (that's on the Coastal Bend, about 35 miles North/East of Corpus Christi. Gwynne and I (Larry) are just getting into rasing chickens, so we are the 'newbees' and will be trying to "get our ducks in a row" before we get the chickens. Please forgive the 'dumb' questions, and we try to look up the FAQ before we ask, however trying to find a quick answer in 1500 posts......You Know What I Mean (YKWIM)..

can i use cracked corn as a treat/scratch for my chickens? seems like as a youngster i always remembered throwing corn out the chickens, but could be wrong....

They will love it!

Corn is also a good source of calories and niacin. It's a great treat.

This was his fourth deployment.. and I'm sure it won't be his last...
But at least for now he's home.. so we're spending as much time together as possible (between hospital appointments..)
