Mike's been thrilled to be able to sprawl. At our old place, he was crammed into a one car garage with my motorcycle.

So glad he takes these photos for me during the day so I can share in the adventures.

Need to wait a few before i start grabbing more boys. Got 2 from ken not long ago, and will have a polish roo joining the bunch once he gets a tad bigger....so thats 3 roos to my 12 hens as long as the 6 in the brooder really turn out to be pullets as they said!

Not to mention my batch of silkes comin but sarge claimed a pair so that helps things, lol!

Hey it was worth a shot

I gave my cousin about 12 chicks, he ended up with 2 cockerels. I kept about that many and have for sure 4 cockerels in the black and blue coppers.

Ok fingers crossed I can stick with the eggs I just put in the bator to be my last for awhile

I am about cross eyed with what I am growing out now. But looks so far like most of what I have kept are pullets. It's hard to not keep putting the Silkied Am eggs in...

Mine don't fly as well as the regular Ameraucana but they can go over my head if they want to. Mine all roost like the regular ones do.

that's the thing with defective glands.. they do start out "hit or miss".. if it gets worse as time goes by then just keep an eye on her for issues

Usually it's no big deal.. just a little warning sign that things may be a bit amiss
