nah.. my camera doesn't take the best pics (well.. if it does I haven't figured it out yet) and my husband was busy helping with a few other things

I think your doc didn't realize where the main veins run.. plus did he try to do both from the same side?.. if so there is a major artery which runs through there.. one little nick and they can bleed out fast

idk what he was doing? I told him they didn't need gas and he put them under anyway...he was skeerd!

I have boiled plenty of Roos my last roo was tough as Dickens i boiled him down and his meat tendered up then ii made chicken salad with the meat the water i used to boil him in i added seasoning(and the caucus) bold it down more and used it as broth for other dishess
Would that be a chick-en broth. That just doesn't sound right. It would be nice to have something to do with little roos though.

it's that wet stuff that was falling from the sky this morning.. either that or we had a lot of fairies flying overhead who were spilling their drinks!
Now that made me laugh out loud!!!!

also.. IF you get an "ameraucana" from a hatchery it's still an EE... even if it LOOKS pure.. it's not.. it's still an EE mutt.. just one that happened to get "lucky" in the looks department (though some people will insist differently

Thank you to yinepu, Cockle-Dood, and Little Wing!. I thought they would be considered EE's but didn't want to jump out there with incorrect info...

Bowie county - little town called redwater. There is a map that I think is linked in Little Wings signature for everyone to pin their location on. Check it out.

Little wing, do you still have any pullets currently from the batch that i got from you originally? I still only hve 1 EE laying and was curious if yours were laying yet if u hung on to any...turns out the free roo i got from you is indeed a roo! Lookin pretty sharp too but still no crow either
