Well I think Google maps finally "took" my new place marker. I seem to be up there all by my lonesome close to Sam Rayburn lol.

Edit: Or maybe not. I went back to look again and.. DOH! No marker! What is UP with me and google maps here. I never had a problem with that before.

you like me! my marker gets tossed around quite a bit. i think they found me down in mexico one time...last time i looked i was up near cypress.

Sorry you are having a problem. I'll bet you need a new computer. The one you have is a city computer and it doesn't understand country internet. Country internet has more of a drawl to it. lol
If you want me to put you on it, PM your address and I'll try it.

LOL. I've had a drawl ever since birth. Anyway, problem solved. Seems that there are so many on that map that in order to see the newer listings you have to go all the way to the bottom of the list of names on the left and go to the next page to see the newer entries. Being that I deleted my old marker and added a new one, I'm now on "page 2" and can only be seen if one looks at page two of the names. That sucks. Who would think to do that? Can we get our own map again? There are so many listings in other states that it's now kicking Texans off the bus, or onto page 2. Boo. Hoo. hehe.

Snakes are my biggest fear and I've done more reading on how to snake-proof my yard than is even logical.

Today my brother sent me an article on a home-made snake trap that looks like something even I could do (I'm incredibly non-mechanical!). Can I post a link to that article, or is that a no-no?

So speaking of snakes. Killed my first bad snake of the year, and first coral snake ever in 40 years on the property. He was a little thing, but I've got little kids and little dogs and wasn't going to take a chance.

hey ken, i think my olive egger is starting to lay. found a small egg yesterday that was a new color, im hoping in the next few days she will get it together and produce something pretty.
