Good morning. Well we survived Houston rush hour traffic on our way to Galveston yesterday. Hit Houston right at 5:00pm. Took two and a half hours to get through Houston. Traffic was so slow I thought about setting up my tripod to take pictures of downtown at sunset. I am a white haired gnome now, but other then that we are fine.
OH yes I am so very happy to get out of Houston, you've no idea! Don't miss that mess at ALL.

OMG mouth watering! One of my all time fav foods!!!!
Thanks Jungle for the idea. I will stop by Pho 20 this Thanksgiving when my family will be in Galveston for my mom's 90th b-day.
In Houston, there are Pho Nguyen and Pho SaiGon, I always visit them for Pho.
While in Dallas, I try Bistro B for their variety of food.
In Austin, I like Pho Saigon for the Pho, and I visit Pho King for the Bun Bo Hue (my favorite). Rachael: Have you tried?

feel hungry already !

It's such a beautiful crisp morning, I've been having fun taking pictures in our backyard. These two beautiful redheads are our new girls, Reba (L) & Ruby (R). They were given to us a few days ago by friends who had more chickens than allowable in the College Station city limits. These two stay together, but they are so laid back they've already started laying eggs.

You are making me hungry. If you are ever in Lubbock, you have to try the Beef Noodle soup at Thai Thai. It is like Pho on steroids.

Pretty birds!

It is a BEAUTIFUL day here...any day with no AC is a beautiful day!

We roasted weanies last night with my BIL/SIL and nephew and his friend. Then later a during the night a small thunder storm rolled through. I woke up and loved listening to the rain and the thunder with the windows all open. We have those types of nights so rarely here.

Is that the Pho King on Parmer? We like it. I love spring rolls. I didn't realize what the joke was in their name until someone pointed out the correct pronunciation of Pho.

I can't sleep! I took a nap at 9:00PM, woke at 12:00AM, gah! My messed up sleep schedule is horrendous.

However, I've got completed egg pictures! I'll admit, I have some personal favorites. Hence the hours of time it took to complete some of them while others took about 20 minutes, haha!

It took forever and it may not pay off, but that's fine. I had loads if fun and have gotten a bit better at working with acrylics. Now, if only I could master oil paints. -_-,

My favorite :)
