Hey, everybody! Just got caught up on the thread. I was out all day today, exploring the wonders of Boerne, enjoying some thrifty shopping and finally, getting my muscovies! I have to thank MiRanchito for being amazing and selling me a few of his. They are beautiful and I can't wait to introduce them to their new home tomorrow afternoon.

Also, someone was mentioning wyandottes and I thought I would mention that M&T Rabbitry and Poultry Farm in Lytle is currently selling female gold-laced Wyandotte chicks for $3.50 each. I may get a couple tomorrow when I purchase quail.

And also, just because I thought it would be a cool thing to mention, he's selling week old emu chicks! I kinda just want to see them because baby emus are adorable, but I'll refrain from embarrassing myself, haha!

Yes, we love the warm weather return this weekend, then be ready for the cold front again mid week. I will head down to Houston next weekend for Chinese New Year.. .heard that it would be raining .. hic

One of my students told me he was going to Malaysia for Chinese New Year. His Chinese New Year is two weeks. Hmmm guess he won't be getting taught those two weeks. It's frustrating. Wave as you past through Katy!

I've a plant question: my aloe Vera stems froze about half way. Should I cut off the black part or just let it do it's thing. I forgot about it during the freeze before this past fri. I wrapped it good this time so there is no more damage. I was just curious as to what to do.

Do you eat the aloe vera leave ? In Asia, many foods are made of the leave. They believe it can cure many things including liver cancer. I had a friend taking it daily in his last month.. and still died. He died 4 days before Chinese NY so his memorial is coming up. Time to send an email to his family.
