Nice bike Harley. We have had a few over the years. Had to sell our last one after husband's stroke after heart surgery. He would not have been able to hold it up. So we sold it before he tried. We got a Stallion in Feb. Sort of a trike made with a Ford drive train. I can drive it because it drives like a car. Husband still wants a bike, but he will have to settle for a trike while I'm alive.

If I had not gotten sick I would still have it. I had a job that payed very well before I got sick. Now I can not work a full time job and I am on disability which is less the. Half of what I made on my job. I would love to go back to work it's hard to go from being the guy that run everything to sitting on your but watching the tv. What happen to me is I had a drunk man hit me head on at 70 mph 11 years ago. I spent a year in a wheel chair but went back to work 2 months after the wreck. In the wreck it broke both legs to the point they wanted to cut the them off. Bike my back , face and damaged my Pancreas. I worked until my pancreas gotten worst and put me in the hospital for 9 months. That is when I almost lost everything I had. The bike was the 1st to go but I guess being alive is better then not!! It was 3 years ago that I went into the hospital and have not been able to work after that.

Discovered a little secret by accident...I moved my chicks waterer to the corner so it might stay a little cleaner. That put it near the heat lamp and now the water stays quite nice and warm but not too hot, so they won't have to drink cold water.

Well, it's finally raining and thunder rumbling, wind whipping the trees. It was 70* last night at midnight is now 47* and my windows are fogging up because the house is so humid.

Wow Harley! I am so sorry that happened. What happened to the drunkard? I am glad you have your chickens then. I think they probably give you some enjoyment. You are in my prayers!

Lisa :)

Watch your little chicks that they don't get into the water, because it is warm, and then get chilled.

Yes, good point...I'll check on them later tonight. I called them chicks but they're a month old...(to me they're still chicks...LOL) they're pretty big so can't get too wet.

Chicks will do the very thing you think they won't! :D It's like they get together and plan events to keep you on your toes.

When the rain came through it got down to the mid 40's here. Now it's back up to the low 50's (still very windy) which is still too cold for wet chickies.

True...so true. I've only had chickens since November but they are totally awesome. People think chickens are dumb...they never knew a chicken!!!
They are like dogs and cats in that they each have a personality. They have a social order. Communicate in chicken talk. Ane they are SMART! They learn things fast.
I'm so glad I have chickens...but I just realized something...the 20 free chickens I got cost us about $700. But they have been worth every penny. If for nothing else their fresh eggs are the best. I will never eat another store bought egg as long as I have chickens.
