Nice group of bantams you have there. Welcome to this thread, I am from Pflugerville.

Thanks! I'm a fairly new Ducky mom (no chickens). I've searched & searched for duck houses & there wasn't very much. I'm modifying a rabbit hutch & pen. I've never heard of a pallet coop! I'm sure it wld have been a lot cheaper!!
What kind of ducks do you have? I only have ducks, as well, and I have Welsh Harlequins and Saxonies. It's so nice to have another duck person on the thread!!

Ducks rule, chickens drool!

When will your geese get that big knot thing above their bills? You have Africans and Chinese, right? I have never had that type, so I'm not sure if they are born with them or get them later.

I only had Giant Dewlap Toulouse before, but I'm thinking about Pilgrim geese, as they are smaller and auto-sexing. I miss my geese!

Their knobs are already developing. The 2 white ones are 8 week old boys and their knob is just a patch that is wrinkly at the top of their bill. I had 1 female, also 8 weeks who went to live with my sister whose bill was still smooth, so I think the males knob develops earlier. I know the males knob is bigger than females at maturity.
