I have 20 EE chicks age is 3 1/2-4 months, wont be long they should start laying I think...anyone know?I am only keeping 8 for my grandkids, all the others I am selling :)

Yours are about the same age as mine. I've read EE start laying around 25wks (give or take a few weeks). Still, sounds like you've got quite the bunch.

Yes I have several EE's I am selling, and my brother has Seramas, he has some 9 day olds, and some that hatched yesterday & today. Also he has 9 Serama hens setting, and some due to hatch this week end, thur the first of June. WOW!! Lots of babies, but he is selling Serama chicks for $5.00 each. And as soon as he & his daughter figures out what bantams their going to keep he will be selling the remainder of the 100 Assorted bantam chicks he bought several weeks ago.

While building the divider out in the coop and putting the chickens in there I noticed that the turkeys spent a lot of time picking at the water nibblers. So I took a pan out there this morning and filled it with water and they drank from it for almost 15 mins. Like they was starving for water So I guess they don't get enough water from the nibblers. Makes you think maybe they're not working very well for any bird. Has anyone else noticed this?
