Texas is big enough to make up 2-4 states, but I'd drive the 4 hours to San Antonio for a "South Tex" meet. If nothing else, it seems like a great way to help repopulate some of the rare and endangered breeds since so many of you on this site manage rare breeds.

Even though Texas is so huge... we really should have a Texas BYC meet up It would be a great chance to swap stories, experiences.. and perhaps a few chickens!

Im not sure how I can get away to go anywhere more than an hour or two away. There is no one to watch my dog and we cant leave him alone for days on end. The San Marcos meetup is just too far from where I live to go I asked hubby and he said it just wouldn't work. So hopefully we can do one up this way.

I'd be up for a DFW swap. I live in Lindale about an hour east on I-20.
