Texas

Since most people from here are from Texas I have a question but I'll start with some info first: I talked to the PT tester in my area and he said in Texas the main difference between PT and NPIP is different license numbers although the testing was the same. Sooo he then said that if I was PT tested and TAHC I could legally ship to most states but would have to check with the state laws of each state. Does anyone already have a list of states that it is legal to ship to with only PT and TAHC licenses instead of NPIP?!?

I just found this ..
Im not sure if this has the info you are looking for or not.
Im going to read it really quick.

I do not know but what I do want to know is..if the testing is the same, assuming you'd pass the test, why would you only want the PT and TACH license and not the NPIP.
Again I am just asking to learn.

Fees are pretty expensive for NPIP in Texas. PT testing is free in Texas. TAHC license for over 100 birds is 125. NPIP licensing is 125 and up depending on status: personal, hatchery, etc.

Found this but didn't know the lamens terms. It said PT clean but then said NPIP unlicensed places. It confused me and made me think of show requirements more than shipping requirements.

Have you searched on BYC for "shipping requirements"

Hopefully a fellow Texas ships out of state and has a clear answer for you.
My buddy who ships out of a different state said that last list I sent us what they have to go by..They are NPIP though.
