Texas

It’s impossible to recover all that is lost and only by therapy or regular exercise is it possible to recover any of it really. My legs are still much weaker than before surgeries. I’m just now walking quite a bit without a cane. It’s not recommended.
I first started having trouble with my right leg at 13, shattered the ankle, riding bulls. :D Later on at 30 got 5 bullet holes put in it during George H. Bushes 100 hour "fun" run in Kuwait! :D , then when 50, I broke my tibia and fibia in an motorcycle accident, :D and at 58 broke my hip twice!
Each time had to learn how to walk again. Each time the doc told me I probably wouldn't walk again, and if I did I'd have a severe limp or be in a wheel chair for the rest of my life. I have proven them wrong in all cases, except this last time...I'm still limping, a little! :D

I’m 65 as of last September. Got you best there

That's putting it mildly! :gig you can read more about living "dangerously" here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/byc-member-interview-007sean.1232780/unread
It really all started when I was 2 years old, visiting my great grand parents on the farm. I picked up a rag that had malathion soaked on it, and started chewing on it. They took me to the hospital in Clovis to have my stomach pumped out! :D so yeah, been a roller coaster ride! :lau

Are you gonna blame it on the malathion then?
