Texas

Been offline - y'all been busy I see ... That coldfront dropped us to 26°F before wind-chill that morning..... But, the day before when the high was like 43° & humidity was 60% winds 25-30 w/gusts well above that made walking outside a challenge as it chilled me to the bone too dang fast just checking on the chickens & the drainage pipe zone I'd dug that's slowly drying out....
Now, a couple days later and today is 70+ for high same for Sunday and Monday before the next front rolls in at night.

I've really watching the Farmers Almanac for our Region 11 & they've been Lazer accurate so far.....
Isn't it amazing that the Farmer's Almanac can get it right a year or more in advance and the Weather Channel can't get it right the day before?
I also look at their "Best days to set eggs". Not because I'm going to incubate, but because my hens use their schedule to go broody every spring and fall. Lol

Well I was a little slow and getting the pineapples set back out, but those are out now. Hard to believe I just had the heat on and now it's going to be 91 come Tuesday again. Had a new hawk, a gray one trying to hunt my chicken today but I think he moved on after seeing me. With 90s hitting this week I don't expect those brussel sprouts to finish setting this year.I'm actually happy about that there my wife's brussel sprouts she likes em and I don't.

Now that the blue coat has dried punk diva here has a real cool looking hair doo. I didn't like the fresh blue coat that gave her a "something about Mary" hair gel look.

You need to post a pic of your punk diva in the POW.

The latest WX related fcat that's actually a major worry for me, from a physics point of reference, the roll out of the 5G network. The fact that water molecules vibrate at a specific frequency "x" and the 5G transmitters and trcievers 'talk' in the frequency that is so close a frequency that it will literally blind all the weather satellites sensors that listen for that frequency. This will nullify the last 30-odd years of advancement in storm warning for hurricanes, Tornadoes & Thunder and snow storms too

As a metaphor, think of it as your listening to a choir of kids sing in a whisper when all of a sudden the 24 hours of Le Mans starts up it's race that surrounds you and the choir.

Sweet of you to give me something new to worry about! Lol!
I see where Houston has a few cases of the coronavirus. I'm not too worried for myself (very healthy) or too much for my husband. He is disabled with CMT and cannot walk far but is otherwise healthy
But I do have some family members that I worry about. A daughter who has rheumatoid arthritis & her husband who had a kidney transplant in his early twenties.
A step-daughter who is pregnant and works at a university in Dallas, 3 toddler grandsons who all go to daycares in Dallas.
We also have a 6 mo. Old great grandchild and a newly pregnant granddaughter in Arkansas too.
I read too many scifi books in my younger years. Plague novels were always the scariest to me. Lol.

Yep, 5G is a dangerous band width.
