Texas

Good luck to everyone in far East Texas and LA with this one. :fl Mike's is starting to think it is a 4 at landfall. Current NOAA and USAF missions have only recorded 100 and 105 knots for winds. I'm not googling the conversion. Both are within Cat3 speeds.

I bet @RUNuts pants are on fire getting prepped for this. Such an unnerving feeling with 140mph winds possible and knowing the power is going out. He says he lives in East Houston but I believe he is more Beaumontish. That or just grilling up a storm with the freezer meat and getting ice made, running to the liquor store and other critical tasks. My wife likes packing the cards I prefer drinking through it if possible for entertainment. I was wondering though does Sabine lake fishing get better after getting overrun by storm surge? Or is it too high for that it is listed as a saltwater estuary.

Windfield extent.

East Houston or Baytown. Or call it 50 nm from the Sabine River and I-10. Looks like we will just miss the wind field and I'm very happy about this. Prayers for Lake Charles and surrounding areas. This one is going to blow.

that a great question about the post hurricane/TS effects on fish for fishing purposes.
I wonder if they tend to be in shock for the 1st 14-48 hrs afterwards and wouldn't eat unless it was right in front of them?????
