Texas

We have something called rain! It is messy and wet outside. Man I will need to get the new mower out of the box now. I really wanted to write up something about the Belgian Malinois. He is a great dog. Needy and active. He is a great companion animal. Ok it is really raining like 2 inch per hour by the sounds of it. I guess I now know how my weekend will go.

I am sure my post will get deleted. I try to not be very political here. We can't all be draft dodgers. I served and risked a lot. Not in Vietnam though just Iraq. This SOS didn't. For those of you not familiar with military acronyms that would be sack of..https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/05/politics/trump-vietnam-war/index.html I am upset. My brothers are losers for getting killed. I remember every name.

It is noon here and 85 degrees, overcast and I have 2 cockerels fighting on the front porch, no idea where they get all of that energy. Lolipop just lost and ran off fight is now over. Frack is still chasing him though. I guess Frack is upset about his new hairdoo they each tore out a bunch of feathers. Chicken life.

Can't wait for the break in the heat this week when the front comes through. If we can get out of these 79 degree nights, I can finally turn the fans off in the coop.
My incubated hatch has been merged with the flock and my group of Bleeps Roosters have now all been processed. I'll be keeping an eye on the young guys. I like having a group of roosters, but not if they're going to gang up like that. And, since my incubated group shortchanged me on pullets, I've got an order from Ideal coming in on Wednesday! 21 chicks and 10 poults. Then my friend adds her order to mine, so there will be 54 chicks coming to my brooder/nursery coop this week!! This will be the most I've ever had in one go before.
