UPDATE:

I am happy (and sad) to say that I have been successful in rehoming many of these chickens! My friend took the majority, and a rooster of mine was taken by a nice family that found interest in him.

Glad you found them new homes!

I have 4 laying hens and 12 6 WEEK old pullets. 3 lay brown and Blackie (found game hen) lays white. I got 4 and I'll call it a 1/4 egg. 3 brown 1 white, as normally should be, and the tiny baby egg. Where, who, why?

I took the male home so it would stop trying to mate with the chickens and am now building a separate run for the girls to be in cause I now have 4 males and 2 girls

Haha yeah! I might get more ducklings for sale here, and they are a month old already. Then I’ll just put them in the corresponding run. Do you know if the males will still fight if the females are on the other side of a fence where the boys can see them? If I get more girls I might put a boy in there if I want ducklings or is someone I know wants them.
