I'm not in Texas but good idea!I'll start this one.
I am in San Marcos, between Austin and San Antonio.
FYI
I have been keeping a spread sheet of Texas BYC members for several years. Right now it has 274 members on it. Of course some are no longer members or might have visited only a few times.
Texas, we are strong !
It's been pouring here since last night, and I just got a heat advisory warning on the phone, so I assume it'll be over 100 for days on end with miserable humidity to kill birds. Here comes the terrible heat, it's like last year all over againIt's showing 103 and 104 here for the next 6 days, why can't we just get a normal summer!
That happened to me on Saturday. But the feed I put out was wet crumble mash so it was ok.It's been pouring here since last night, and I just got a heat advisory warning on the phone, so I assume it'll be over 100 for days on end with miserable humidity to kill birds.
I'm so happy I fed them all yesterday so it could pour today and ruin most of the feed.
The babies are getting the crumble the adults get the all flock pellets. I have feeders that prevent the wast of crumble now.I use pellets. They waste less that way.
