Lost most the babies!Tarps riped off two pens. The other two just have water in them. The high pen have water but not bad. I'm cuddling what's left of the babies after drying them with towels. One rose comb mightm make it. This is pretty devastating for me.

Very sad indeed, sorry to hear about you're loss. Hurricane Harvey was my last big loss of my birds....they had shelter but chose to stand out in the torrential rain. got hyperthermia and died, I did manage to save a few by putting them into my hatcher.

I lost power.
It's pretty windy out there. I'm in the nasty red stuff... hopefully not for too much longer.

I hope it comes back on soon! We're just getting a steady rain and a little wind.

I think my total losses are about 36 from the one pen. Saved 8 I believe. I haven't counted yet. All other pens and adults and the babies from Easter hatch are doing great even tho that Pens tarp was ripped off as well. Most where crammed into the nesting boxes.
