Ooh man I'm sorry for your losses :'( I hope I don't lose any, I was lucky the post office called and gave me a chance to pick them up instead of letting them ride in a truck all day

lol.. I have three polish (1 splash roo.. 1 red hen and 1 buff laced hen) who need to move to their own coop.. their "hairdressers" keep plucking too much off the top.. so their hairdos are looking rough!
i guess we have done a good job with our mail man!!!! he delivers to our door!!!!Ooh man I'm sorry for your losses :'( I hope I don't lose any, I was lucky the post office called and gave me a chance to pick them up there insured of keyring them ride in a truck all day
one more hatched a day early!!!
and we lost another ideal chick lastnight!
Mine always seem to hatch a day early and it seems like there is a much higher mortality rate with shipped chicks. I have never gotten any shipped to me but have bought plenty at the feed store. I just bought 7 SLW chicks from the feed store that had freshly arrived from Ideal and 2 have died in 2 days.
**snickers** I could totally see the coop set up like a salon...
2 MORE HATCHED!!!! AND ONE IS BLUE WITH A NEKED NECK!!!!! YAY!!!!![]()
