Mark, I hope your chickens like their roost. My girls - only a few seem to want to roost and the rest just lay in the bedding. I do have a few girls who were fighting over the pieces of wood in between the studs on the inside of the coop last night.So far doing okay (thanks for asking). I'm assuming that they'll start roosting when they figure out where they want to sit...?
Thanks for replying. I thought it was a dumb question but I was reading a post yesterday and someone had something about "training" their chickens to roost. I assumed it came naturally.Thanks everyone! It is my DH first time every doing any building project like that. I think he's done a great job.

Thanks Lisa LoL. I dropped a suggestion in the suggestion box that they should start a "Chicken Challenged" ForumMark don't be afraid to ask questions. A lot of us are newbies. Thank goodness the 'old-timers' put up with us.
