I think I might wait till you guys get going on the yokos, perhaps I will be able to convince hubby to let me order from catdance <3Catdance silkies are suppsedly the cream of the crop, yokies are kinda hard to find depending on the breed (red shouldered and white are the only ones with a SOP that i know of). Sex links you can do on your own, find a BA roo (tiger creek on byc has some beautiful birds) and cross with some BR's (i think the guy name is yardfullofrocks on here)
As far as the others go, browse the breed threads, plenty of info there. For the yokies onagadori on byc is a start, i believe thats where sarge got his nice trio from, or wait till sarge, yinepu, and i get our yokies going

it depends on the size of the egg and the size of the broody... I put whatever will fit comfortably .. so if I see a bunch of eggs sticking out from under her.. I know it's too many

For the yokohamas.. I had quite a few of the blues hatch.. plus the majority of the eggs in the bator are looking good
I am trying to figure how why some of my chickens always have runny poop while the others are solid I rake the pen everyday. Feed them purina pellets with omega 3, some conditioner feed mixed in. I put vitamins in their water and recently began using healthy flock tablets to sanitize the water. Any suggestions would be helpful. These are 2-3 year old birds.
