Is this a guinea egg? It is extremely small but the second one that has been deformed like this.
You can see the deformity here. I have oyster shell always available, what else would cause this?

Ok.. I was just going to come on here and ask what would make chicken eggs so small! The ones I am "chicken" sitting have been giving normal sized eggs then tonight there was one about 1/3 of the size! I can't see deformity on ours but in the two months we have been watching them, this is a first here.. no guineas here either! Totally can't wait to see what the experts say!
Too many boys paying her too much attention.Help ya'll! We are "chicken sitting" and one of the hens well.. I will show the pics if you wish (they are kinda gross so I wasn't sure) ...is missing feathers on her back..I am not talking molting here.. she is like bald! Now.. there are only 3 hens and 5 roos in the coop so how can I tell if she has mites/lice or if it's from over mating? She seems to be the only one like this and she was like this before we started watching them but I feel terrible and want to help her so bad.. can anyone help me out at what to look for?
Tell me about it! He had a coon come in and take out like 14 of his flock several months ago.. He had one male and one that hit maturity about two months.. this week 3 are totally roos and def at maturity age! (think he thought at least 2 of those were hens!) There is one old hen in the pen that has stopped laying and one young that hasn't laid yet so total 5 roos and 5 hens with only 3 laying hens! But the thing that has me questioning it is she has her tail feathers.. this is like under her wings and up in front of her tail.. so like her back! Would pics help explain? I don't wanna put a bald gross looking chicken on here but my heart breaks for her! With 3 hens and 5 roosters its a miracle any of them have any feathers on their backs at all!!

Thank you! I kept thinking if it was mites or lice then wouldn't the others have them after all this time too? I am so new to all this and learning as I go. The owner is due back soon so hopefully he will be doing some relocating! I will def discuss this with him and learn for my flock!Sounds like the typical locations where a roo mounts. If you dont have a way of separating the roos look into some chicken saddles. They are basically little backpacks that protect the area u are talking about. I believe they can be found cheap on ebay or some one on here can point you in the right direction.
Those roos may become aggressive as well, keep an eye on them!
