I was just wondering if this thread was ok to post rehoming offers! I just got a batch of 2-3 week old chick and I'm already seeing what looks like a lot of Roos. But they are all beautiful birds so I wanted to try to find a home for them. They are from a breeder and are blue maran, splash maran and lavender Ameraucana. I can already tell on the Marans. In DFW area.

hey all I have 2 little roos i need to re-home they are from eggs that i got from CatKai, her BBS Silkied Ameraucana project. they are both blue and silkied. Here is a pic of one of them they both look the same to me and just started to crow on and off so I need to re-home them I thought they were girls until they crowed then i had to look over everyone and determine who the guilt crower was! To my surprise I had 2 re-home fee of $10 each. I'm out in Boerne just about 20 miles up I-10 from San Antonio thanks!

Neat idea. Do they have the black bodies?

They are not Silkie crosses, no Silkie features. Just silkied feathers, Silkied Ameraucana.

Ah. Obviously i know nothing of chicken genetics.

They are not Silkie crosses, no Silkie features.  Just silkied feathers, Silkied Ameraucana.

i know i thought for sure they were pullets until they crowed its so hard to tell with the silkied feathers!

Ameraucana with the silkied feathers just popped up a few years ago, not all that common yet. Need more people breeding them... Silkie cross you'd have the Silkie features.
