Meat made in a test tube is not GMO--it is identical to real meat since it is made from stem cells.  It's not the same thing as GMO at all.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isnt that what all the GMO people keep saying too? I tell you what, you go ahead and feed it to your family. I think I'll pass.

I was listening to NPR when they were discussing the laboratory meat and I think I skipped dinner that night! Way too Soylent Green.

:-( I am so sorry for your loss! It's def different than the rats we have around here color wise but it's eyes say non-venomous so my guess is some form of rat as well.

Yep, I think you are right. He had a little red color on his back so at first we feared copperhead but the head did not look like a copper. Only the second snake we have found in almost three years of moving onto undeveloped land so I guess we are lucky. Thanks for the thread.

Thanks for the link. Well the three polish babies he ate I was going to sell anyways. I am trying for colored sultans and the three he ate had no leg feathering and were a funny color. Normally the predators always go for your fave. So, I guess it could have been worse. We lost a few a while back and could not figure out how that happened so I think we have been feeding this smuck for a while
